Winder wrote a hilarious book on James Bond and his legend.
Lovely. But where can I buy it? Amazon only has the Kindle edition.
Andreas, that’s distressing! Did you go to Amazon.com or Amazon.co.uk? I think maybe Amazon.de might only have it as a kindle if it hasn’t been published or widely exported to this country yet. If you are in Berlin I am sure Dussmann’s English bookshop addition would have it…
You can also of course try a local bookshop – search the site for St George’s, Marga Schoeller, Dialogue and Another Country, hopefully one is near you.
Giulia.. you summed the book up perfectly.
i ended up skimming some of the historical content when it got too bogged down with battle names, hoping to find more funny bits, which i did.
but i was also in tears by the end of the book when it became a lament for the Germany that could have been.
i wasnt expecting that.
