Today I walked the U5 line out to Lichtenberg. It was a grey and overcast day but I knew that the stations below were nice and colourful, so I ducked down into each one and photographed it, in order to make a possible series.
Sadly my mission came to a premature end when the U5 got technical problems at Biesdorf-Süd and I was stranded for almost an hour while it grew dark…and cold. Then again, the train goes overground from that point on anyway, and the colourful interiors run out.
Maybe I will simply use the U5 as a starting point, and walk and shoot each line to collect the most colourful stations of Berlin into a series. There is a reason the stations are colour-coded by the way, which you can read about here.
